Susan Mary Parker Lane passed peacefully August 5, 2023.

Born March 2, 1955, she was the daughter of the late John T. Parker and Joan M. Parker.

She is survived by her husband of 49 years, David Lane; daughter Maggi Ingels (Justin); son Michael Lane; and daughter Kayla Emery (Gary); two granddaughters, and two grandsons, brothers Johnny Parker (Sue) and James Parker.

Susan had a 21-year career as a nurse, and even more so as a mother.

A family directed Celebration of Life will be held at 1pm August 19, 2023 at First United Methodist Church, 264 N. Main St., Rutherfordton, NC

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Hospice of Carolina Foothills.
