Tanya Michele Swafford, age 58, of Forest City, passed away Tuesday, August 29, 2023.

Tanya was born November 18, 1964 in Rutherford County to the late Aurthur Hutchins and Joyce Kuykendahl Hutchins. She worked at the ADS Warehouse for many years and was a member of Riverside Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 23 years, Raleigh Swafford and a brother, Arthur Dale Hutchins.

Those left to cherish her memory include two daughters, Mary Bartlett (Lee Goode) of Henrietta and Nicole Gregory (Robert) of Forest City; son, William Swafford (Ashley Arnold) of Rutherfordton; a brother, Gregory Hutchins (Shelley) of Spindale and half-brother, Tai Nguyen of Oklahoma City, OK and six grandchildren.

A memorial service was held September 3 at Riverside Baptist Church with Rev. Ted Blankenship officiating.
