A Thanksgiving tea party was held Nov. 18 at the Rutherford County Senior Center. A tea party is held monthly and those who sign up to attend bring a dish and fellowship together over tea, coffee and snacks. This year marks the fifth for the monthly event, which normally draws around 20 participants. Billie Lee and Lavonda Pleasant worked to set out food for those in attendance to enjoy. Martha Hampton enjoyed biscuits and gravy and other treats, saying the meal was her breakfast for the day.
