   April 15, 2011 marked more than tax day. It also marked the Grand Opening of the Wireless Center Inc  at 193 Railroad Avenue, in Rutherfordton. A crowd of friends, customers, colleagues and dignitaries came out to wish store manager, Kathy Helton and her staff success.

   Jimmy Dancy, Mayor of Rutherfordton expressed his appreciation to Wireless Center Inc for locating their business in Rutherfordton. Mr. Dancy told Kathy and her staff “your success means the success of the town.”

   Over 80 people showed up to enjoy the freebies, live broadcast by WCAB and barbeque by Okie Dokies Smokehouse from Swannanoa, NC.  Wvetta Washburn was the winner of the free Blackberry Bold.
