Thelma Mode Martin, age 91

Thelma Mode Martin, age 91, of Forest City, passed away Saturday, July 21, 2018.

Born June 11, 1927 in Rutherford County, she was the daughter of the late Joe Mode and Alice Hollifield Mode.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, David C. Martin; three brothers and one sister.

Those left to cherish her memory include one daughter, Connie Wooten and husband Edward of Atlanta, Georgia; one son, Ronnie Martin of Forest City; three grandchildren. She is also survived by one great-granddaughter.

Funeral services were conducted at Harrelson Funeral Chapel. Rev Ernie Cole officiated. Interment followed the service at Rutherford County Memorial Cemetery.
