Thomas Earl Philbeck, 67, of Ellenboro, passed away Sunday, January 17, 2021.

Born in Cleveland County, NC, he was the son of the late Jessie Earl Philbeck and Orla Durham Philbeck.

Survivors include his wife, Linda Strickland Philbeck, of the home; his son, Brandon Philbeck (Tammy) of Black Mountain, NC; his daughter, Kim Baker of Ellenboro; two sisters, Betty Greene (Terry) and Mary Cooper (Junior), all of Ellenboro; a grandson; brothers-in-law, Larry Strickland (Ann), Bill Strickland (Sheila), Doug Strickland (Gail), and Mike Strickland (Pam); and a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held at Corinth Baptist Church. Interment followed in the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may made to Hospice of the Carolina Foothills, P O Box 336, Forest City, NC 28043.
