Tommy Ray Hutchins Sr., 88, of Rutherfordton, passed away Friday, April 2, 2021.

A native of Rutherford County, he was the son of the late William Thomas and Hattie Causby Hutchins.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Billie Blake; sons, Tommy Ray Hutchins Jr. (Janet), Eddie Hutchins, Randy Hutchins (Lisa), Johnny Hutchins (Jill); 18 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, sisters, Betty Smith, and Mildred McCraw.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife Nancy Ruth Hutchins; a great-granddaughter; brothers, Edgar and Alton Hutchins; sisters, Gertrude Watkins, Edna Bright and Lola Teague.

Funeral services were held at Oak Springs Baptist Church. Burial followed in the church cemetery.
