Tony Scott Bailey, age 50, of Spindale, passed away Thursday, April 17. 

A native of Rutherford County, he was the son of the late Donald Nelson Bailey and the late Mary Jane Smith Brock.

He is survived by his wife, Melissa Dawn Martin Bailey; two daughters – Ashely and Emily Bailey; brothers - Ray Bailey, Ricky Bailey and Randy Bailey; step sister Tammy Lavender; nephew/son David Bailey; stepmother Shirley Bailey and a number of other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his stepfather William Bill Brock.

Funeral services were held at Fellowship Holiness Church with Rev. Leon Brown, Rev. Bobby Brown and Rev. Roger Hudgins officiating. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Hospice of Rutherford County P.O. Box 336 Forest City NC 28043 or to Fellowship Holiness Church 301 Deviney Street Spindale NC 28160.
