Troy Lee Wallace III, infant son

Troy Lee Wallace III, infant son of Wendy Dedmon and the late Joshua Lee Wallace passed away on Thursday, April 29, 2021.

During the ten days that Troy lived in this world he impacted a multitude of people. He will hold a place in their hearts forever. Troy was a "happy baby", and he especially loved the kisses he received from those who deeply cared for him.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Troy Lee Wallace, Jr.; maternal great-grandfathers, Verge Dedmon and Roy Robbins; paternal great-grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Otis Grizzle and Mr. and Mrs. Troy Lee Wallace, Sr.

Those left to cherish his memory include his mother, Wendy Dedmon of Rutherfordton; siblings, Nathan Wallace, Dakota Holland, Nick Holland and Matasia Covington; maternal grandparents, Ray and Cookie Dedmon of Rutherfordton; maternal great-grandmothers, Louise Dedmon of Forest City and Ruby Robbins of Rutherfordton; paternal grandparents, Nancy Warner (Bob) of Greenwood, SC; two aunts. He is also survived by five cousins.

A funeral service was conducted at Riverside Baptist Church. Interment followed in the church cemetery.

Memorial donations are requested to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at Mission Hospital, 509 Biltmore Avenue, Asheville, NC 28801.
