Vera Fowler, age 80, of Rutherfordton, passed away Wednesday, October 10, 2012.

A native of Rutherford County, she was the daughter of the late Barzilla and Viola Gault Fowler. She was a member of Piney Knob Baptist Church.

She is survived by a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held at Piney Knob Baptist Church with Rev. Carrell Pruette officiating. Burial followed in the church cemetery.
