Vernie Barbara Blackwell Poole, age 81

Vernie Barbara Blackwell Poole, age 81 of Mooresboro, passed away March 7, 2022.

She was a native of Spartanburg County, SC and the daughter to the late Allen Blackwell and the late Roey Blackwell.

Vernie was raised in Campobello, SC and was a graduate of Chapman High School. She retired from Mastercraft Textiles.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years David Poole, one daughter Barbara Daphine Poole Maness and one son John David Poole.

Vernie is survived by daughters; Sheila P. Wilson (Anthony) and Melissa P. Stephens (Richard), sisters; Frances Mabry of Inman, SC, Magdalene Green of Cowpens, SC and Enzia Higgins of Inman, SC, 10 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, daughter in law Diane Poole of Mooresboro.

The funeral was held March 11, 2022 at Chase Baptist Church of Mooresboro with Rev. Scott Butler officiating.
