Vickie Hopper Martin, 69, of Rutherfordton, NC, passed away, Sunday, April 16, 2023.

A native of Rutherford County, she was the daughter of the late Tom and Louella Day Hopper. She worked as a waitress for Shoney's and was a member of Spindale Fellowship Holiness Church for 28 years.

Left to cherish her memories are her son, Ronnie Martin and wife Rana; daughter Lisa Bailey; five grandchildren, one great grandson; sister, Donna Wilson and brother, Danny Hopper, and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Vickie was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Martin, brothers, Tommy and Eugene Day; sisters, Patsy Salmon, Rita Hopper Shaw, Cindy Hopper and grandson Brandon Martin.

Funeral services were held April 21 at Spindale Fellowship Holiness Church with Rev. Chad Sisk and Rev. Bobby Brown officiating.
