Virginia Blankenship Hill, age 90, of Forest City, passed away Tuesday, November 25, 2014. 

A native of Rutherford County, she was a daughter of the late Calvin Lee Blankenship and Sarah Elizabeth Hunt Blankenship, she loved her past job at Walmart where she worked in the shoe department. Virginia was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Louis Hill in 1977.

Survivors include two sons, Robert Hill and his wife Huynh of Forest City, Jeff Hill and his wife Debby of Sandy Mush, a daughter, Susan Hill Logan of Forest City, and a sister, Helen Blankenship Panther of Charlotte. There are 8 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.

Funeral services were held privately for the family with Mr. Tim Elmore officiating. Interment followed in the Cool Springs Cemetery. 

The Padgett and King Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
