Walter Lee Adair, age 76, of Forest City, passed away October 18, 2021.

Walter was born September 30, 1945 in Rutherford County to the late Earl B. Adair and Gladys Bridges Adair. Walter worked in maintenance most of his life. Walter was in the first graduating class at East High School class of 1963. He was a member of Harriet Memorial Free Will Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Rosa Vickers Adair; and sister Martha Adair Tessinear.

Those left to cherish his memory include his son, Tony Adair (Beverly); three sisters and one granddaughter.

The funeral service was conducted October 22, 2021 at the Harriett Memorial Free Will Baptist Church with Rev. Mike Cash officiating.

Harrelson Funeral and Cremation Services is serving the family.
