Wayne Dixon, age 70 of Cliffside, NC, died Thursday, April 13, 2023.

He is the son of the late Alton Dixon and the late Marjorie Spears Dixon.

He was a graduate of Chase High School. He worked in textiles most of his life.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Jack Dixon, Robert Dixon, George Dixon and Calvin Dixon.

Left to cherish his memories are his wife of 48 years, Kathy Burgess Dixon, daughters Terrie Adams (Steve), Candy Owens (Michael), Amie Moore (Bryan), brothers Gene Dixon, Steve Dixon, Pat Dixon, sisters Diane Willis and Brenda Lister, 10 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.

The funeral service was held April 17 in the A.C. McKinney Memorial Chapel at Eggers Funeral Home with Rev. Dennis Hurdt officiating.
