William "Bill" Temple, age 84, of Rutherfordton, died February 19, 2022.

He was the son of the late George and Mabel Temple. Bill was a native of Huron County Michigan. He was a veteran of the US Navy and worked as a mechanical engineer.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother Charles Temple.

Survivors include his wife, Amy Temple, daughters, Cheryl Mirabal, Becky Temple, six grandchildren.

The funeral service was held at McMahan's Funeral Home Chapel February 23 with Rev. Brandon Wood officiating.
