William Edgar Thompson, 61, of Lawndale, passed away

He was born in Lincoln County, on December 26, 1954, to the late Cone Thompson and Mamie Belle Houser Thompson.

In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his son, William Matthew Thompson and several sisters.

He is survived by his wife of forty-one years, Elizabeth Ann Elmore Thompson; two daughters, Melissa Thompson Crump and husband, Teddy of Golden Valley and Roxana Thompson Smart and husband, Michael of Polkville; two brothers Carl Thompson and Fred Thompson both of SC; two grandchildren.

All services will be private.
