William J. “Bill” Robinson, age 87, of Forest City, NC passed away Tuesday, April 17, 2012.

    Bill was born December 30, 1924 in Gulfport, Mississippi to the late Jack Robinson and Margaret Kesnera Robinson.  He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and worked as a commercial and residential electrician most of his life. He was a member of Bostic Missionary Methodist Church.

    Survivors include three sons, William Robinson, Leon Robinson both of Smyrna, TN and John Rogers of Gulfport.  He is also survived by his special friends, James and Nettie Murray of Bostic.

    Memorial services were conducted at the Bostic Missionary Methodist Church with Reverend Kenneth Kanipe officiating.  No formal visitation is planned.
