William Steve Murray, 69 of Ellenboro, passed away on Tuesday, March 29. Services were held at Crowe’s Chapel in Rutherfordton. Internment followed in Plain View Baptist Church.

Mr. Murray was preceded in death by his parents, William Ernest (Bud) and Ora Lee Hunt Murray and his step-daughter, Susan Hill.

He is survived by his wife, Eunice Styles Murray of the home; two sons, Marty Murray and Michael Murray of Shelby; a step-daughter, Donna Hill of Shelby; one sister, Faye Dellinger and husband Wayne of Kings Mountain; six grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to Cleveland Pines Activity Fund, 1404 N. Lafayette St., Shelby, NC 28150.
