Bill's Creek Community Center Scholarship deadline July 1

The Bill's Creek Community Center in Lake Lure is proud to announce the establishment of the Bill's Creek Community Center Scholarship to support Local Students and Adult Learners.

The Bills Creek Community Center will award a one time $1500 scholarship to a person who shows a strong record of community involvement.

The scholarship is available to people living in Lake Lure (28746 zip code). The scholarship will be available to high school seniors as well as older adults who seek to go back to school.

The scholarship can go towards any post high school education (2 or 4 year college, trade school or tech school).

The application deadline for the 2026 scholarship is July 1, 2026.
