Community Pet Center welcomes Santa

Santa Paws is one way the Community Pet Center, a non-profit all-volunteer organization, raises funds each year at Christmas by having Santa pose for pictures with pets. This has been taking place for around 15 years. The group's goals are to save the lives of animals and to build a better community by creating families with healthy, happy pets and ensure their safety and well-being. Among the programs sponsored by the Community Pet Center are low-cost spay and neuter clinics, a pet food pantry to assist low income families feed their pets and Pet Education In The Classroom which provides classes in local schools. The Community Pet Center is located at 861 Piney Ridge Road in Forest City.
