Cynthia Denise Hayes Wood, age 63

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, sibling and aunt, Cynthia Denise Hayes Wood, age 63, on Monday, September 7, 2026.

She was born in Cleveland County, NC to the late Harvey Fitchue Hayes and Linda Ellis Hayes. She is also predeceased by siblings, Rita Hayes, Mary Ann Morrison and Mark Hayes.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Lindsey Morrison and husband David; grandsons, Everett, Oren and Landrum Morrison; siblings, Belinda Edwards and Eric Hayes; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews.

During her lifetime, she worked as a Printing Designer.

A Celebration of Life Service was held September 13 at Kadesh Church.
