Edna Mae Shrewsbury, age 64

Edna Mae Shrewsbury, age 64, of Forest City, passed away Friday, April 28, 2023.

Edna was born September 20, 1958 in Wyoming County, WV to the late Clyde Denver Shrewsbury and Francis Opal Hunter Shrewsbury. She worked at Southern Convenience Store and Petroleum World Service Station and also worked in plastics manufacturing.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Cathryn Lynn Shrewsbury; granddaughter, Chrissy Moore; brothers, John Hunter and Clyde Douglas Shrewsbury; stepsons, Bryan Rudy Sizemore, Peter Byron Sizemore and stepdaughter, Angela Mitchell.

Survivors include her best friend and soulmate, John "Cowboy" Nipper; sons, David Franklin Shrewsbury of SC and Roy Douglas Shrewsbury (Amber) of Gainesville, MO; daughter, Dorothy Sizemore Ravencliff of WV; sister, Opal Van Dyke (Jeffrey) of Forest City and brother, Patrick Shrewsbury (Lisa) of Easley, SC, eleven grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral was held May 3 at Harrelson Funeral Chapel with Rev. Ernie Cole officiating.
