Josie Fish, age 79

Josie Fish, age 79, of Forest City, passed away Friday, October 30, 2020.

Josie was born September 13, 1941 in Rutherford County to the late Earnest V. Yelton and Jessie Hutchins Yelton.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Sam Fish; daughter, Rebecca Feimster and sisters, Faye Wall and Thelma Holland.

Those left to cherish her memory include her children, Shelby Gettys (Donald) of Bostic, Johnny Fish of Forest City, Lisa Studioso (Richard) of Mt. Holly, NC and Wayne Fish (Rose) of Ellenboro; two sisters, Margie Sisk of Forest City, Edna Mott of Bostic and brother, James Yelton of Forest City; son-in-law, J.O. Feimster of Bostic and daughter-in-law, Tammy Crawford of Ellenboro. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren and twenty-nine great grandchildren.

The funeral service was conducted at Cooper Springs Congregational Holiness Church. Interment followed at the Yelton Family Cemetery.
