Marie Dobbins, age 98

Marie Dobbins, age 98, of Dobbinsville, NC died Thursday, August 25, 2022.

Born in Rutherford County she was the daughter of the late George Charles Dobbins and Mallie Ethel Dobbins and was the widow of the late Clarence Miller Dobbins. She retired from Cliffside Mills and was a member of High Shoal Baptist Church.

Survivors include son Bruce Dobbins and wife Robin of Dobbinsville, daughters Opal Gee of Bostic, Janice Baum of Dobbinsville, Shelia Kirkendall and husband Steve of Shelby, and Pat Roberson of Forest City, ten grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren and ten great- great grandchildren.

Graveside services were held August 27 in the Rutherford County Memorial Cemetery with the Rev. Kevin Rohm officiating.
