Martha Wright Cash, age 75

     Martha Wright Cash, age 75, of Forest City, passed away Monday, March 30, 2015.

     Born June 30, 1939, she was the widow, after fifty-six years of marriage, of the late Glenn Cash and a daughter of the late Hyden Wright and Dolores Kiser Wright. Martha was a graduate of R-S Central High School, class of 1957 and worked in textiles for over forty years. Martha was a member of Mountain Creek Baptist Church.

    Survivors include her son, Marshall Cash and wife, Jan of Atkins, Virginia; two brothers, Gerald Wright and wife, Lucille of Rutherfordton and Norris Wright and wife, Sherry of Forest City; three sisters, Betty Roper of Gilkey, Jeanette Wallace and husband, Lewis of Rutherfordton and Sandra Brigman and husband, Thomas of Gilkey; grandson, Tyler Gene Bradley of Polk County; brother-in-law, Max Ray Cash and wife, Jane of Morganton.

      A graveside service was conducted at Mountain Creek Baptist Church Cemetery with Reverend Wayne Toney officiating.
