Pastor Kevin as he dedicates each new part of Crestview Baptist Church's sanctuary. The choirs voices fill the church with great offerings.
It happened this past Sunday! The new sanctuary after months of construction was dedicated. The proud congregation came to witness the magnificent achievement which the labors of love produced.  After a call to worship, the dedication and prayers began: First for the building, then the musical instruments, followed by the altar, pews and pulpit. The music, the choir, the quartet all contributed to making this a most memorable day. The choirs rendition of "How Great Thou Art" was a resounding rendition that brought the congregation to their feet with applause. A very proud and elated Pastor Kevin Rohm, fondly always referred to as "Pastor Kevin", explained it best. He stated that: "Dedication is the act of consecrating or setting apart something for the glory of God. In the Bible, the word sanctification is often used in a similar way. Today, we come to sanctify this new church and all that is in it. We set it apart from the world as a special, holy, spiritual place where we can meet with God, hear from God, and worship God. We also must sanctify or set aside ourselves for the ministry of this church. The Bible says: " ...For  unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall be much required: and to whom men have committed  much, of him they will ask for more" (Luke 12:48). May God help us fulfill our calling to grow this church." He signed it: Love, Pastor Kevin!

During the service he preached loudly and clear that "this church is for everyone!"  He said it was for the members, and also for anyone who seeks refuge within this new structures walls. For those who may come or just wander by and come in...  this new structure is for everyone.

The skyline is now embraced and enhanced in Forest City with this new sanctuary. It attests daily to the glory of God. It proves what determination and dedication can do to achieve a worthwhile goal.

We congratulate and wish Pastor Kevin, his deacons and Crestview's members continued success. May the new church serve them all and those yet to enter its' doors.
