Aileen Dysart Morehead, age 97

Aileen Dysart Morehead, age 97 of Ellenboro, passed away on Friday, August 2, 2019.

Aileen was born November 11, 1921 in Rutherford County and was a daughter of the late Broad and Lola Holland Dysart. She was a homemaker and member of Bethel Baptist Church in Ellenboro. Aileen was preceded in death by her husband, James "Jay" Morehead, brothers, Charles Dysart, Yates Dysart, and Wade Dysart, as well as her sisters, Vernie Huskey and Martha Radford.

Survivors include her son, James Morehead of Ellenboro, a daughter, Sarah M. Crispin of Charlotte as well as two grandchildren and one great-grandson.

A private memorial service was held in The Padgett and King Chapel.
