Al Burleigh, age 84, of Bostic

Al Burleigh, age 84, of Bostic, passed away Tuesday, March 11, 2025.

Al was born September 15, 1940 in Plattsburgh, NY to the late Katherine LaForest. He served honorably in the US Marine Corps. Al worked as a welder for Duke Power for many years.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 64 years, LaRue M. Burleigh; daughters, Alexis Bryant (Scott) of Hickory, Monica Hedrick of Bostic, Emily Cain (David) of Fayetteville, Elizabeth Hodge-Burleigh of Bostic and Angelina Burleigh of Bostic; sister, Carol Ann Burleigh of Plattsburgh, NY; grandchildren, Stacie Fuller, Annie Oco (Pio), William Bowen (Amy), Jessica Einspahr (John), Cara Johnson and Diana Cain; great grandchildren, Elijah Bowen, Madison Bowen, Gabriel Fuller, A.J. Fuller, Caydence Oco, Lynex Oco, Joseph Hopkins, Cian Johnson and Carian Johnson.

In accordance with his wishes, there will be no formal services conducted.
