The Lions Scholarship Committee consists of Lions Tracy Lanham, Monica Faherty and Kristen Boyd. Chair Tracy said that the Lake Lure Lions Club is pleased to serve the community by supporting students in their future endeavors.

Lake Lure Lions Club President, Fay Kobland, said she was impressed by the students achievements, applications, references and vision for their career path post high school. "It is obvious that these young students have strong visions about what they want to do in adulthood and the path to achieve it.
