Alan Dale Metcalf, age 61

Alan Dale Metcalf, age 61 of Forest City died Thursday, March 30, 2023.

Alan was born in Rutherford County on March 6, 1962 and he was a son of the late Roy and Irene Greene Metcalf.

Alan was a graduate of Chase High School and he earned a degree in Business Administration from Gardner-Webb College. He worked as a buyer for most of his career and more recently was a Project Manager for Westrock.

Survivors include his wife, Marica Stacey Metcalf, daughters, Megan Metcalf Draghi and husband Michael of Los Angles, CA, Taylor Metcalf Whiteside and husband Clint of Forest City, brother, Larry Metcalf and wife Mary of Forest City and sister, Cynthia Metcalf Walkup and husband Ronnie of Calabash and one grandson.

The funeral was held April 3 in The Padgett and King Chapel with Rev. Daniel Selman officiating.
