Alarie Cooper, age 78

Alarie Cooper, age 78, of Chesnee, SC, passed away Monday, June 25, 2012.

Alarie was born March 31, 1934 in Spartanburg County, SC to the late Theodore Cooper and Addie Wilson Cooper.  She worked in retail sales most of her life, having worked for S & H Kress and K-Mart until her retirement.  She was a longtime member of Broad River Baptist Church and loved working with young people.

 In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters Dora Lamb and Joyce Skipper.

Left to cherish her memory are two sisters, Mary Lattimore and husband, Wayne of Chesnee and Helen Moore of Forest City; two brothers, Wilford Cooper of Chesnee and Reid Cooper and wife, Jolene of Marion.  She is also survived by ten nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly.

Funeral services were conducted at Broad River Baptist Church with Reverend Reid Cooper, Reverend Phillip Bailey and Reverend Bryan Ezell officiating. An online guest registry is available at www.harrelsonfuneralhome.com
