Albert McFalls, age 87,

Albert McFalls, age 87, of Rutherfordton, also affectionately known as "Buck" or "Buster", passed away Friday, January 5, 2024.

Albert was born April 10, 1936 in Rutherford County, to the late Virgil McFalls and Elsie Coffey McFalls. He was a graduate of Tri-High School and Appalachian State University,. Albert was a U.S. Army Veteran serving in Germany during the Cold War Era. He was a member of West Point Baptist Church. Albert was a salesman and manager of sales for Town and Country Ford, Clovedale Ford, and the Village Auto Mart.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his infant children, Alan McFalls and Yvonne McFalls; and a sister, Mary Ruth McFalls.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Ruth McFalls, and two aunts, Lucille Waters and Martha Humphries, both of Sandy Mush.

A service was held January 10 at West Point Baptist Church with Rev. Lance Scarlett officiating. Military honors were offered by the Rutherford County Honor Guard.
