Alice Catherine Williams Lee age 88

Alice Catherine Williams Lee age 88 of Rutherfordton, NC went home to the Lord September 4, 2023.

Alice is preceded in death by her parents Anne and Albert Williams, sister Anne Ahern, brother Albert Williams and daughter Barbara Lee Varnes Strehele.

She is survived by four daughters: Alice Worcester, Thomas, of Lakeland FL, Kathleen Morton of Winter Springs, FL, Patricia Byrd, Ronald, of Jay, FL, Anne Lee Gardella of Rutherfordton, 10 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, many step grandchildren, step great grandchildren and a large extended family.

Alice was born January 21, 1935 in Brooklyn, NY and attended Our Lady of Perpetual Help, St. Brendan's High School, St. John's University and Hillsborough Community College and attended Incarnation Catholic Church.

She had a long career with TRAK Microwave Corp. from which she later retired.

Alice began her retirement by moving to Plant City, FL where she attended St. Clement's Catholic Church. In 2007 she relocated to Rutherfordton where she attended Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.

In honor of Alice's wishes, no formal services will be scheduled. She will be interred at Curlew Memorial Gardens in Palm Harbor, FL.

In lieu of flowers donations in her memory may be made to Immaculate Conception Catholic Church 1024 W. Main St., Forest City, NC 28043.
