Alice Elizabeth Harris, age 68

Alice Elizabeth Harris, age 68 of Morganton died Wednesday, September 21, 2022.

Alice was born November 22, 1954, in Rutherford County and she was the daughter of the late George E. Harris and Elizabeth Barber Harris. She was resident of Forest City in her youth, and then moved to Morganton to be cared for at J. Iverson Riddle Center. She was baptized in the First United Methodist Church of Forest City.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers Johnny Harris and Chris Harris.

Survivors include brothers Ed Harris of Rutherfordton, Tan Harris and wife Audrey of Hickory, three nephews, a great nephew and great nieces as well as cousins.

A gravesid service was held September 26 in Cool Springs Cemetery. The Rev. Paul Christy will officiated.
