Alice Louise Parris, age 82

Alice Louise Parris, age 82 of Forest City went home to be with the Lord August 8, 2021.

Louise was born on July 5, 1939 in Rutherford County and was a daughter of the late Clarence M. Hutchins and Bertha Mae Huffman Hutchins. She attended Sandy Mush Baptist Church when her health allowed and retired from Wal-Mart.

Louise was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Edward Parris, her sisters, Vangie Trout, Dot Walker, and Mamie Kiser, as well as brothers, Sam Hutchins and Carace Hutchins.

Those left to cherish her memory are sons, Bryan Melton and wife Darlene, Lynn Melton and wife Sherry, and Aaron Parris and wife Ginger, her sisters, Barbara Hutchins and Ella Cosgriff, sister-in-law, Vinitta Hutchins, 8 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild as well as many loving nieces, nephew, and friends.

The funeral service was held August 11, 2021, in The Padgett and King Chapel.
