Alice Ruth Greene Bailey, 86

Alice Ruth Greene Bailey, 86, of Mill Spring, NC, passed away Wednesday, September 21, 2022.

A native of Polk County, she was the daughter of the late Hobert and Hattie Bradley Greene. Alice was a retired textile employee and a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, Polk County.

Left to cherish her memories are children Mitchell Bailey (Debbie), Douglas Bailey, Stanley Bailey (Diane), Loretta Rhodes, Philip Bailey (JoAnne), Keith Bailey, Lorraine Moore (David), Stewart Bailey (Diane), Angelia Atchley (Wesley); sister Mary Broadwater; twelve grandchildren, twenty-four great grandchildren, and ten great-great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband Claude Junior Bailey, six siblings, three grandchildren and one great grandchild.

Funeral services were held September 25 at Crowe's Funeral Chapel with Rev. Warren Elliott and Rev. Todd Lawter officiating.
