Allen Eugene Terry, age 61

Allen Eugene Terry, age 61, of Ellenboro, went home to be with the Lord July 28, 2021.

Eugene was born January 13, 1960 in Cleveland County to the late David Allen Eugene Terry and Hattie Gettys Terry. He worked in concrete construction for most of his life and most recently worked as a supervisor for Concrete Specialty. Eugene was a member of Souls Harbor Tabernacle and served as an usher at the church.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Shirley Wood and brother, Jr. Terry.

Those left to cherish his memory include sons, Bobby Allen Terry (Abreainn) of Bostic and Andrew Scott Terry (Joy) of Forest City; sisters, Carolyn McDaniel (Gordon) of Ellenboro, Mary Callahan of Mooresboro and Elizabeth "Liz" Terry of Ellenboro; 9 grandchildren, and a great-grandson, Jaxon Baugh.

The funeral was August 1, 2021 at Souls Harbor Tabernacle in Mooresboro with Rev. Chuck Poole and Mr. Mark Ingle officiating.
