Allen Lee Emory, of Cliffside, born on May 28, 1961, passed away, April 14, 2019.

Surrounded by his loving family and friends, he left this world to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, after a long battle with cancer.

Allen was such a servant to people he was always striving to help people succeed. Some of his servant accomplishments are Human Resources Manager at Parkdale Mills, W. Duke Kimberly Plant; Founder of Domestic Violence Victims Advocate, Writer and Blogger at REACT; Police officer with Kings Mountain Police Dept., Alexander Mills Police Dept., and Shelby Police Dept.; Former Chief and President of Rutherford County Rescue and member of Shelby Rescue Squad (where he first started EMS) and Kings Mtn. Rescue Squad; Shriner 32nd Degree Scottish Rite Mason and a Master Mason, Cliffside Lodge 460; Former Training and Safety Manager at Springfield Inc. Lyman, SC

He is predeceased by his mother, Betty Frances Bridges, and grandmother, Sadie Beason Neal. He is survived by his sons, Zachary Tyler Emory and Aaron Nathaniel Emory; his daughter, Sadie Emory Haynes and son-in-law, Hunter Mark Haynes; his two grandchildren; his sister, Robyn Davis and family; his nephew, Robbie Henry Cline and family; and his aunt, Alice Kerr and family.

Allen loved working with people, improving lives, serving others, representing Christ, and loving and spending time with his family. He enjoyed playing tennis and golf with his sons, taking his daughter shopping, and spending time with his grandchildren. Despite his diagnosis, he maintained a positive outlook on life and cherished every moment he had left, leaving his family with only good memories.

A Funeral Service was held at Element Church, Forest City. Interment was held at Calvary Baptist Church, Mooresboro.

Robert Morgan Funeral and Cremation Service is serving the family.
