Alma Jean Hensley Queen, age 71

Alma Jean Hensley Queen, age 71, widow of Robert Queen Sr., of Rutherfordton passed away Sunday, December 22, 2019.

Alma was a native of Buncomb County, the daughter of the late Chever and Bertha Heart Hensley, retired from Tanner Company and WalMart and attended Gilkey Baptist Church.

Those left to cherish her memory include her children Robert Queen Jr. (Sue). of Rutherfordton, Hank Queen of Spindale, Audrey Queen Self (Danny) of Rutherfordton and Tina Queen Jenkins (Robert Jr.) of Waynesville; sisters Judy Lane of Asheville and Linda Harwood of Barnersville; 15 Grandchildren and 19 Great Great Grandchildren.

Memorial services were held at Crowe's Funeral Chapel.

Crowe's Mortuary and Crematory is serving the family.
