Alta Grace Riffle, age 88, of Forest City

Alta Grace Riffle, age 88, of Forest City, passed away Wednesday, September 9, 2026.

Grace was born November 26, 1937 in Rutherford County to the late Herman Coffey and Hester Warlick Coffey. She was a business owner and entrepreneur of several enterprises. Grace was a member of Crestview Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Walter Coffey and sisters, Jean Cominos, Daisy Anorga and an infant sister, Aleen Coffey.

Those left to cherish her memory include her sons, Dale Riffle (Mary) of Sevierville, TN and Randy Riffle (Jeanne) of Forest City; sisters, Gloria McAlister (John) and Zelda Epley all of Shelby; grandchildren, Crystal Hull (Bruce), Tyler Riffle (Peyton), Paige Wyant (John Ross), Kenzie Abregu (Kevin), Ryan Riffle (Hollie), Jenna Elkins (Daniel), Riley Riffle (Savannah); 11 great grandchildren.

A private celebration of life will be held for family and friends.
