Alton Creed Burns, age 66 of Ferry Road passed away Monday, September 19, 2022.
A native of Rutherford County, he was a son of the late Creed and Lassie Burns. He was also preceded in death by his son Aaron Creed Burns and a sister Joan Shelton.
Alton is survived by his wife Judy Dimsdale Burns, daughter Crystal Dawn Burns, siblings Jim Griffin, Hal Guffey, Janet Metzger, Joyce Scronce and Darlene. He is also survived by a number of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held September 22 at Crowe's Funeral Chapel.
In lieu of flowers memorials in Alton's honor can be made to the charity of your choice.
