Alton Ruth Hodge Reese, 89, passed away Tuesday, February 6, 2024.
She was born in Gaston County to the late John Weaver and Ora Brady Hodge. She is also predeceased by her husband, James "Red" Reese; 8 brothers and sisters.
Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Wayne and wife, Dianne Reese and Jerry and wife, Sharon Reese; daughter, Angela and husband, Michael Hoyle; three granddaughters, two grandsons, five great-grandchildren.
Alton was a Crossing Guard for Schools.
Private Family Services will be held at a later date.
