Amber Smith, age 27

Amber Smith, age 27, of Spindale, passed away Monday, August 1, 2022.

Amber was born July 6, 1995 in Rutherford County. She was a graduate of Rutherford Early College High School (REaCH). Amber worked as a CNA for Accordius Health in Rutherfordton and was of the Baptist faith.

She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Cathy Smith and aunt Kimberly Horseman.

Survivors include sons Jaiden Kimbrell and Rylan Scott Smith both of the home; mother, Crystal Smith (Wyman) of Lexington, SC; father, Dusty Smith (Kristie) of Waynesville; brothers, Jeff Smith (Maria) of Lexington, SC and Dakota Smith (Marie) of Warrenville, SC; sister, Kristina Smith of Warrenville, grandparents, Rev. Gene and Betty Smith of Forest City and Johnny Downey of Bostic.

A memorial service was held August 6 at the Harrelson Funeral Chapel with Rev. Gene Smith officiating.
