Angela Jean Scott, age 68

Angela Jean Scott, age 68 of Forest City died Tuesday, December 6, 2022.

Angie as she was known to her family and friends was born November 20, 1954, in Dunbar, West Virginia and was a daughter of the late Eugene and Delores Simmons.

Angie was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Forest City as well as a homemaker.

Survivors include her husband of 35 years, Frank A. Scott, sons Thomas Schowerth of Forest City, Christopher Schowerth of Gastonia and Anthony Scott of Forest City, brothers Randall Simmons and Timmy Simmons, and sisters Tonja Hopper and Tammy Fisher, three grandchildren.

A memorial service was held December 13 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Forest City with Bishop Dale Workman officiating.
