Angie Dorsey, a beloved daughter, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away leaving behind cherished memories for all who knew her.
Born in Guilford County, NC, Angie was the youngest child of Pete Morrison and Laura Faye (Harp) Morrison. She grew up in Pleasant Garden, alongside her older brother Kenneth Clark Morrison. Angie was dearly loved by her parents and extended family, which included many cousins: Mike Morrison, Rick Morrison, Timothy Shepard, Kay Shepard, and Jamie Jarrod.
Angie first married Alan Tool at the age of 16 and later married Michael Huddy on January 15, 1989. She was blessed with two children: her daughter Nicole Elaine Huddy, and her son Stephen Lynn Harris. She was also a proud aunt to her nephews and nieces, Daniel Morrison, Casey Morrison, Brandon Morrison, Christopher Shepard, and Heather Harp.
Angie moved to Black Mountain where she worked with her close friends Jennifer Warren and Dave Martin at Recovery Ventures Center, dedicating her time to supporting others on their journeys.
In 2007, Angie moved to Asheville,and worked for many years at Waffle House. Later, she lived in Asheville with her companion Martin Kucharski before moving to Rutherfordton to live with her mother Faye and son Stephen.
For nearly a decade, Angie made Rutherford County her home, working as a Personal Care Aide in Bostic.
She was blessed with many grandchildren: Eli Beaver and wife Jaholya, Madison Clark, Cyrus Clark, Natali Clark, Alana Clark, Carter Clark, and Colby Clark.
