Annie Lou Stallings, age 99, of Rutherfordton, NC, died January 10, 2022.
She was the daughter of the late Matt and Mamie Cole Splawn and a native of Rutherford County. She was also preceded in death by her husband James Stallings and daughter Carol S. Pate; twin sister Mary Sue Head and her sister Bernice Crabtree. Annie Lou was gifted with a friendly personality and had a multitude of friends all her life. She was a devoted mother and grandmother. Annie was a member of Holly Springs Baptist Church.
She is survived by a son Rick Stallings of Atlanta, GA, a son-in-law John Pate, three grandchildren, nine great-Grandchildren, nine great-great grandchildren.
The Funeral service was held at Holly Springs Baptist Church on January 14, 2022 with Rev. Scott Moneyham and Rev. Timothy Hodge officiating.
