Anthony Brodfuhrer, age 86

Anthony Brodfuhrer, age 86, of Lake Lure, passed away on August 13, 2020.

Tony was born in 1934 in Brooklyn, NY, to Eric and Hermine Brodfuhrer. Tony served for several years as a lieutenant in the US Army. Tony married his college sweetheart, Karla, in 1957, and they were together for 56 years, until her passing.

Tony leaves behind two sons, Russell (Sandra) and Douglas (Kathie), both of New Jersey, a daughter, Karen, of Florida, four grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren, and his dog. He was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother, Eric.
