Jack Causby, Head Archery Coach, is quite proud of the team. This is a young team and thankfully most of the kids will be back next year to compete, but we need more. Archery is a sport anyone can participate in. Archery scholarships handed out by various schools and private organizations is on the rise. Scholarships exceeding 2 million dollars were distributed to North Carolina high school students during the state tournament. TJCA has an opportunity to expand the sport and open doors for young archers to advance to the collegiate and potentially, the Olympic level. If you are interested in archery, please call Coach Causby at 828-289-8234. Registration and practice schedule will be distributed in early September.
