Arlene Landes Kenter, 86, of Rutherfordton, NC passed away April 21, 2023.
She was born October 17, 1936, in Telford, PA, to the late Jacob and Florence Rosenberger Landes.
Arlene was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Richard Kenter in 2018.
Arlene was also preceded in death by her brothers Charles, Clayton, Richard, Russell, and Ivan Landes and sisters Doris Landes and Esther Getz.
Arlene is survived by her children, Randy Slonaker of Williamsport PA, Robin Sheriff and husband Mark of Shelby, and Richard "Rick" Kenter and wife Christina of Rutherfordton, as well as siblings Mae and husband Frank Schaffer and Gerald Landes, two grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren, along with many nieces and nephews.
The family would like to give a special thanks to Dianne Russell, Rutherford Lifecare, Life Enrichment Center of Cleveland County, and Hospice Cleveland County. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to any of the above organizations.
A private service will be held for the family.
